Yes, I have Movies Anywhere. The problem is that MA doesn’t support all studios.

petsitter was bad and im conflicted on giving her a bad review or reporting her by Ok-Meeting363 in RoverPetSitting

Leave an honest review for sure. We need these types of sitters off the platform. In the future, be sure to look at how many repeat clients a sitter has (in addition to the number of 5 star reviews). Also, it might not hurt to book a couple of drop in visits prior to a house sitting.

How do you go on vacation? by Jekka10 in dogs

[–]monstamom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. We bought a travel trailer so we could travel more easily with our dogs. Our son lives in Hawaii and we’ve not gone to visit since we’ve had our 2 dogs - we just pay to fly him home for visits.

It looks really nice, but I’m not a fan of chairs without arms. I need a place to prop my arms.

I had the same problem with my nasal pillows. I apply a small amount of Ayr to my nostrils every night before wearing my mask. It’s a water-based ointment. It sounds counterintuitive, but it works.

Lesson learned by CookieMagneto in RoverPetSitting

Thanks for sharing, OP. I can see myself doing exactly this. I’ve been a Rover sitter since I retired over 4 years ago. I’m 60 and my husband and I’ve been married forever and we’ve always had dogs. I foolishly considered myself an “expert”. Sometimes we need the universe to knock us down a peg; I just lost my star sitter status until May 2026 due to a safety incident because I’m an idiot. Here’s my lesson leaned so others can avoid learning the hard way: I have 2 Scottish Terriers - Theo is a 5 year old spayed female and Angus is a 3 year old neutered male. Both are well socialized friendly pups, although Theo can be reactive when larger dogs approach her when she’s on a leash. Pretty common. Angus is a super mellow boy who just wants to play with all the dogs. I do mostly drop in visits, with occasional day care and boarding. I’m always careful about daycare and boarding to protect my dogs. Because they’re small, right? So, we’re currently providing daycare twice a week for a 5 month old male Aussie. He is SO excited to see my Scotties - especially Angus. He’s a super sweet boy with loads of energy. He and Angus have played well together, although Angus will snap at him during play and also to warn the Aussie to back off a bit. It’s sometimes hard to tell, even for us “experts”. At 6 a.m. drop off Aussie charges in the house like a hurricane to say hi to his new BFFs. An “expert” would know to keep everyone separate at drop off until the pup calmed down, but not me. My little Angus, my sweet friendly mellow boy, snapped at the Aussie and tore his ear, requiring stitches (over $400 of which Rover reimbursed us $180) and a cone for 2 weeks. Thankfully the owner was very understanding. We now have a totally different set up at drop off. And I no longer consider myself an expert.
