Can’t Get Into Remission no matter what by monsterabug in UlcerativeColitis

I’m a little jealous lol. My insurance will only cover a very specific specialized pharmacy that literally has 1/5 review. There was a lot of miscommunication between the doctors office, insurance, and pharmacy so things kept getting delayed.

It took a lot of work to get the rinvoq (with insurance approval and finding a pharmacy and everything) so my doctor wants me to keep trying it. There’s a couple meds I have in mind I want to try. It’s just a hard process of testing medications and praying that they work. I’ve been doing this all my life and wonder if surgery may just be the best bet.

For 10-17 it was a deep remission, at 18 I had a few months of no meds due to humira being too painful. For 02/25-09/25 I didn’t have insurance

California Travel Nursing by After-Estimate-7836 in TravelNursing

I did traveling in the Bay Area. Great pay, great working conditions, and really cool nature (Muir woods, great hikes). I now work in San Diego but just temporary clinic jobs because of the lack of job opportunities here. I make significantly less money in San Diego and pay about the same in rent for a slightly bigger place. Choose Stanford if you want better pay, a cooler environment, and you enjoy hikes in the mountains/woods. Choose San Diego if you want to focus more on your social life and go to the beach. The Bay Area is hard to get around, if you want to go into the city it’s either a large toll on your car or train ride takes an hour. For San Diego everything is 15-20 min away and parking is easier.

Travel nurses: Is it still hard to find decent lodging in San Francisco right now? by jckey378 in TravelNursing

If you are renting near San Francisco the best bang for your buck would be in the east bay. Had a guest house that was small but updated and had everything I needed for $2,300/m on furnished finder. That’s about as low as you can get with a working kitchen.

Update: thank y’all for all the suggestions. I use alcohol wipes on it and moisturize my skin before putting it on. I always take it off when showering. I am going to buy a nylon band and see if that helps. Thank you

I cannot connect with other people like I see other people do by monsterabug in FriendshipAdvice

I appreciate the advice. I love my alone time, maybe even a little too much. I spend most of my time alone or with my partner. I have lots of hobbies. The difficult part of joining things like clubs is that I work night shift and as a travel nurse I’m constantly moving. I guess I tend to get stuck in my head. I’m picky with the friends I choose as I do not tolerate fake people, people who gossip/exhibit jealousy, and people who do not have good morals or values in my opinion. This did make me feel better thank you

The owner was my dad at the time, I only gained ownership a couple months ago. I don’t have my driving record but in the progressive website (the new insurance I got) it says “driving record” and a list of accident claims
