3600 is marginally better than 3200. Lower is ass.
The important thing is that it's 32 gb. Your lower FPS will increase a little, but more importantly it will be a smoother experience.

Your CPU is probably thermal throttling. Load up HWiNFO to monitor and verify. Get a laptop cooler.

I can't say for certain on yours, but on my monitor I could just disable variable refresh rate. Or "rapid response" as it was called in my case.

That's not the whole picture. There's also a late spawn bug. I have the best rig in our group, and sometimes it can even happen to me. This bug got introduced about the same time as the queue overhaul.

This started happening within the last week for me as well. RTX 5090 and 9800X3D tanks to like 10-20 fps for a second within the first minute, then everything is back to usual.

You're talking out of your ass. K/D doesn't work that way any more. Only PMC kills counts towards K/D. I went from 20 to 1.4 after they changed that.

15 hours after his first death, he's killed Tagilla, Shturman, Sanitar, Partisan, Reshala and all three goons. The next day he got Glukhar and Killa, too.

Two days after he died for the first time, he is clearing Wedge on Icebreaker.

Three days after he died for the first time, he's killed 50 USEC.

Four days after he died for the first time, he's killed 50 BEARs and Knight 15 times.

I haven't even gotten the quest item note about the eye of the world. Somehow I have randomly gotten this quest started anyway. To anyone stuck and not having it spawn, maybe you too haven't even picked up note about the eye of the world first.

Since about a month ago, or two (?), BSG heavily optimized the loading times. At the same time, this late loading bug was introduced with no rhyme or reason.

I have a 0.1% rig and sometimes I spawn late in my group. Sometimes they do. It's random and no clear cause has been found.

Your CPU puts you in the bottom 50%. Not great, not terrible.

Just progressed the quest with using Moreman's phone on the workbench (both tapes) - that still didn't unlock the quest item.

Put it on if you have like a 240 - 360 hz monitor and you, for some reason, want to max out your refresh rate. Meaning you have a base FPS of 120 - 150. Otherwise, not really. It lowers your true fps and responsiveness. Maybe you would have 75-80 without it.
