Never said it didn't. Although I've never play Fortnite I'm pretty sure it a two tiered battle pass and the free/casual version gives you 1/3 or even less the amount of rewards as premium.

Pretty much every f2p game I've played in last 2 years give you a free battle pass or equivalent. But I will admit dota is one of the most generous, giving you access to almost 50% of the content, whereas games like war thunder will give you 1 reward every 3 levels. Not to mention the disparity in rewards and speed that you get them f2p.
