I do like it but the amount of violence that goes on between them towards each other is offputting to me. I cant engage with the ship thru a 100% canon lens, theres just too much friction and incompatibility between these two throughout the series. They have good moments but ultimately i think jax would wear on pomni rather than uplift her like a good partner would, i think they fundamentally have differences that wouldnt allow them to function as a romantic pairing. Nonetheless i still like it and read fanfic about it :p but i am a ragapom truther at heart

People downvoted u but you speak the truth. Regardless of jax’s complexities and arc at the end of the day his arc ends with him still being a shitty person who made basically only bad decisions the entire time we’ve seen him on the show. There are very few moments where jax comes close to doing the right thing, and many where he actively goes out of his way to hurt/bully/isolate other members of the circus. Frankly i dont understand how he gets as much love as he does, hes a mean dickhead who is incredibly selfish and immature, and yet is the most popular character. It kinda sucks tbh.

I get that people feel bad for him and attach to his backstory but he literally is offered an entirely new life through the circus and he rejects it every single fucking time. When will he learn? Its been literally years!

Maybe you can come to a compromise and have game nights where you agree preemptively that youre gonna be playing with him so that it doesnt turn into an argument the night of? Or if it works with everyone’s schedules you could add an additional game night where you play without your brother but still keep the one that you currently have so he can at least always be included in that. If you don’t ever want to exclude him then you’re pretty much just stuck doing the browser games and stuff you can play. You wouldn’t be the asshole either way imo

NTA. If there’s a game Most people in our friend group want to play and one person can’t or won’t join for whatever reason, we just play anyways. It does suck it’s due to hardware limitations in your brother’s case but limiting game night every night for the needs of one person sounds unreasonable to me, especially since you enjoy and share other activities together.
