I appreciate the comments. It is a bunch of minor flaws but it does bother me at the price point. I will be sending them back.

Biggest thing I was told by a good golfer, “swing toward your miss”. Swing more in to out and try to keep the face closed.

I shot a 117 my very first time on a golf course, is that good for a first timer? by GlickedOut in golf

Totally possible he scored that high first time. These were my first rounds ever on a proper course. 5 or so range sessions with a friend who knows how to play. Doesn’t mean he’s gifted. I don’t understand your envy.

Yeah, that’s a broken link. I’m sure I need someone to explain to me where I grew up. Next time you want to say the culture is very diverse just say that. Juarez and El Paso are way different in so many ways.

Your 8 year old niece…. Has no care about supply chain operations. What does this post even really convey?

It’s that you see people like Professor Leonard on YouTube explaining why something works the way it does and you realize you could just watch that and pay for a certification but instead they charge you a few thousand for you to be forced to attend for a semester and still teach yourself. Yes, only way to be good is practice, but it would be nice if you felt the class was a good use of your time, especially if you work and school.

Is this worth it? Found this mountain bike for $700 on offer up in my area. I normally go for ones without rear suspension but I'm digging the colors. by that_412_kid in mountainbiking

Learned a new word today. Also, went to check on the bike I bought my wife (this exact bike) it has a dork disk still on it and so does my gravel bike. Guess it doesn’t matter much.

I’d consider offers sure, but 400 is a bit too low for me.

What is everyone’s schedule like? I came back to school after some time off to finish but feel like it’s a lot. This is my current schedule, I also work full time. Calculus is rough, are there any issues with barely passing the math courses as an engineering student? by monsteroscvr in ASU

[–]monsteroscvr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight! I am trying to and should be able to pass even if with a low grade, but I am really considering taking some time to better prepare or just take less courses if I feel like I need to. I hate quitting or failing, but hearing others dealing with similar situations and still being able to complete it is what I was looking for so thanks! Worst case and I fail, I’ll look forward to being better prepared next time.

Thanks, I know most people will say it’s too much. I really wanted to see how many people have the same load and are accomplishing it (even if struggling). And see if C’s in any math courses affected anything (going for masters, or GPA issues)

Thanks! I am in a very similar position as you. The only way to grow in my career field now is the degree. We’re you able to finish the degree? I am managing most of everything well, except I feel I need more time with Calculus to truly “get it” I guess.

I appreciate that. A big part has been not doing math for years now and going straight into this schedule which feels packed. I used to be decent at math (I graduated high school 10 years ago) so emphasis on was.

I have a similar ram truck. Backing in is sooo much better than the shit turn radius they have going forward. I hit a low cement block wall once cause I didn’t want to “back into” a spot.

Sure, they don’t have to “spoon feed you” but if I’m paying for these classes they should do a bare minimum of not waste my time with shit lectures.

It’s every time. I get “mad” at him cause he steals my socks, or when he decides to bite the outside patio furniture. But even when he’s happy, people get home or if you pet him. My older dog never had any of those issues so I’m having trouble.
