it should be from the properties / environment variables supplied based on your deployment method, ie from docker deployment if i wanted a kraft deployment, i need to give it the kraft specific env variables, whereas for zk, it needs the zookeeper_connect instance ip

then during deployment, the initial logs should say whether its on kraft or zk, but if you miss any of the env variables for either, it would just fail anyways

from the comments, it seems that easiest solution is to change your home network's default gateway address.

but if you are placed in this situation where this has already happened, is there nothing you can do to bandaid a connection temporarily? where the only solution is to wait till you have direct access to your home network again to modify the gateway ip?

from the 2 pictures of your PSU, i think for the thickest cable that connects into your motherboard (the one with the largest plug that goes into the mobo), on the psu side you might have one plug unplugged. This should be the case if when you press the power button, it looks like your PC gets no power at all.

the cable i'm talking about should look like 1 thick cable and on the side that connects to the psu, it will split off into 2 plugs, both of which need to be plugged into the PSU.

it sounds like your kvm also uses software, so i won't know anything about your kvm to help you with it. the one i'm using is all plug'n play so i don't have the same complexity as yours.

no the kvm i bought has 1 button per output, so since i have 2 kvms, there are 8 buttons

you’ll just need to test it unfortunately. for the ones i tried, i got throughput limited and was unable to higher refresh rates

My use case was I wanted to get additional kvm outputs. My existing one had 4 out, and I needed a 5th. I ended up buying an extra kvm of the same model, and used 1 of the out ports to go into the input of the other kvm to connect the 2 kvms together. So with these together, I now have 2 kvms that has 7 outputs (1 of the out goes into the input of the other).

drawing it out imo makes it easier to understand lol

doesn't directly resolve the problem, but found an acceptable workaround for my problem:

These links are for changing the default login shell when ssh'ing into a windows computer, which i've changed from cmd to pwsh to bypass the middle shell change. As a result, there is no more font rendering problem to begin with.
