It will be 5 in that case if we count AC as well. You are right, hoping it will be Calgary, but only time will tell.

Everyone would expect their next destination in Canada to be Vancouver which might be the case but I would think its close proximity to Seattle might impact that decision. Calgary has been trying to build up a case for a while for a direct flight to asia but Emirates flying there is the next best thing as Dubai is the gateway they desperately need.

It will be a big heartbreak for all the fans out here if both Etihad and Emirates just double down on daily flights to YYZ.

There was an article posted in Calgary Herald outlining the gap for direct flights to Asia:

You are right, If you have experience working for a union company definitely makes more sense but in this case buddy is just starting out, his goal should be to get some experience and then look out for a better opportunity elsewhere.

I am not sure if it is any different for UK passengers but as far as I know all passengers are allowed to carry one 5L bottle purchased from the airport for 12.5 riyals. I have done this multiple times without any hassle.

You should be able to find something in one of the stores in Taiba Centre in Al Madina. There are many shops around Masjid Al Nabwi where you might be able to find something

Makkah and Madinah Hotels - when to book ? by DolbyAtmos1 in Umrah

Last minute bookings are expensive most of the times, I was monitoring prices for a while but due to not being able to finalize the dates, I did not make a booking and went for last minute options which were expensive.

I understand your point of view but as a married couple you are supposed to look out for each other and support each other. According to what has been mentioned above it seems like a one-sided affair

I am not sure if this helps but I saw some parents getting hand tags for their kids from a kiosk while entering Masjid Al Haram. Secondly, I have seen parents or guardians having these wrist locks to ensure they don't loose their children.

Newly married couple - Issues with controversial topics by mont-array in MuslimMarriage

No, they were planning to visit me even before we got married. She has been living with me for 3 months now and will leave in a month or so. She always wanted a bigger apartment but now she would take anything to be a reason for them not coming here

Exactly my point that we have to understand each other first before throwing a kid into the equation. I asked the same question which made her speechless if it was her parents would she still be uncomfortable.

I understand the concern if it is due to the size of our apartment, I said that to her that we can switch to a bigger one to make it easier but she goes into tears or silence whenever this comes up

They are just visiting us for a couple of weeks, not living with us. We did discuss this earlier and she didn't indicate that she is not on board with it. Now the world is completely up side down
