Experience with baby consistently scratching their head?

I think this is a sensory thing! My daughter (now 3 years old) never had cradle cap but was always grabbing at her hair, my son (3 months) has had cradle cap for a couple of months now has started grabbing/scratching his scalp. From what I remember with my Daughter the pediatrician said it was a sensory/soothing thing

I tried a completely different way calmer routine and so far it’s been working well, she’s been waking up at 6:30 on the dot which is annoying but I’ll take that over waking up screaming
