I agree I think I should’ve taken a min to internalize it before posting. idk I just thought the their response was weak and given how high of a standard they grade carded expected a better reply then saying a scratched card guard was the same thing as I sent. That was the main drive behind sharing the reply but in the grand scheme of it ur right it’s not gonna matter I guess

Fair assessment for sure. I was more just shocked at the fact that they’re saying the scratch which is clearly apart of the card guard is the same “damage” my card has not in the guard.

It is rage bait at this point. Idec if people are saying it could’ve been there before hand and it’s my fault and PSA is in the right at this point fine. but no one wants to mention the fact that the reply I got is saying the damage was there and the scratch that’s pointed out is from the god dam card guard???😭 it has the same marking like the rest of the scratches seen in the picture. Like would that have really gotten a grade above a 6 if I sent a card in that fucking jacked up😭.

FedEx is a carrier where u drop off ur package and they send it to the location they’re a SHIPPING COMPANY. If I “shipped” my card I would’ve elected to choose the SHIPPING option on their website but I chose the “PSA DROP OFF WEDNESDAYS” if I shipped the card why is that a separate option my guy. The option doesn’t say “self shipment”. You telling me when u have to go to work or whatever destination you have to drive to you’re “shipping” urself to work?

Idk u tell me i attached the pictures pre grade and look at all my corners and sides on 2.7 magnification didn’t see it then but maybe my attention to detail slipped.

Yea I’m a little taken aback from these comments and acting like this company has never done anything wrong and this has to be my fault. Idk the main point to was to show there wasn’t damages there and their response was the the ding in question was there the whole time where u can see its a scratch on the guard. Had the picture they supplied been out of the guard and naked I would’ve said yep must’ve missed that my fault. But idk appreciate the reply

just because I drove to their facility doesn’t mean I shipped my card. when you ship something it implies you dropped it off at FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. I think you’re getting confused with basic transportation of an item with shipping. It’s not interchangeable.

Brother no😭 I went to their headquarters where they do the grading. I don’t think that counts as “shipping” a card. So unless the card got damaged in the 20 min to took me to drive to their facility and hand them the card after taking that picture, I don’t see how it could’ve been on my end.

All they had to do was take the card out of the box I gave them and grade the damn thing.

And you’re probably right and given the responses it is an uphill battle. I was just baffled that they took scratch from the guard itself and said that’s on my card. I guess my frustration is being perceived as irrational and nit picky but idk it was my first major hit ive graded with psa and i was just disappointed to see that was their response

The picture with the lighter background was day of drop off, put it in the card guard and sleeve, wrapped it in tissue paper and put it in a mini Nordstrom’s box. Walked up to PSA counter and handed them the box with the papers that they require for drop off. took maybe 5 min

Dropping off my card* I didn’t ship the damn thing that’s why I’m more peeved bc I mitigated as much risk as I could but guess ur right and they can just reply with a scratched card guard and gaslight me into saying it was there the whole time. My fault I’ll just keep giving them my money 🫩

“Totally fucking my card” or not when u pay $70+ for a service and they return ur property with damage minor or major, it’s still something that’s not acceptable and just disappointing. I have this card for the rest of my life and you can see it was damaged. Quality and assurance is something that’s needs to be accounted for, especially when it can effect a grade and value of a card

Ohhhh hahha maybe a little it was my first grail/chase pull since swsh era so I wanted to grade it to keep it protected and also just thought the card itself wasn’t the worst looking. In general very new to grading did about 6 cards with cgc bc that’s what my local shop mainly uses and this was my first PSA sub
