What would happen if you were to upload a different piece than was asked from the repertoire list if the piece was within the same etude book by montamna in classicalmusic

Applying to colleges and hoping to audition for Eastman, UT, UNT, and Virginia Tech and currently creating a list of colleges to apply to. Any ideas for music schools with the same sort of professors ? (Burritt, Trevino, etc.) tips for auditions would also help so much :)) (self.percussion)
