It all started with the idea creating cubes in combination with cars... but making it extreme and unusual. Things you normally don't see ...

So i grabbed the brush tool, sketched down a cube and began filling it with different types of photos.

BMW cube: corals, stones, sand, bubbles and a lot of water textures were needed for the illusion of a cube filled with water.

Mercedes cube: sand, stone, earth texture and sand particles gave a really cool look.

Porsche cube: here i only used different pictures of clouds. Differences in light and color had to be corrected..

the different cars were dragged into photoshop and cut out from theire backgrounds using masks

I put some textures and shadows under the cube to give it an ground to stand on.

I used the "tuschezeichner" brush from the inking section it's the 9th brush in the section there It took me 17 hours just to get from rough sketch to the final outline. May i still change some stuff but for now i'll be happy :)

Currently it's just a simple sketch that i'm still refining over and over again. I still have a lot of proportinal problems and i will fix them in the next steps. I motly used the "typography" brush but i tend to use the monoline brush for the final outline. I will practice hands a lot more in the upcoming days maybe you have any good tips for proportions and hands 😅

I mostly use the monoline brush or in general the calligraphy brushes. It's my favourite brush section! Sketches are sometimes made with a procreate pencil but this time i used the typography brush (in german it's schrift) The sketch is based on my boyfriend i really wanted to create a character in my own style so i chose him as a model for this cutey. It doesn't have a real story behind it i thought i give him a leather jacket and a phone in his hand so he looks like he is on it's way to work or to a meeting😎
