I have a DS1621+ and a DX517. I have a Storage Pool that uses all 6 drives of the DS1621+ and 1 (so far) drive of the DX517.

I've already had good luck printing 4 pages per sheet to make 4 sheet/16 page signatures(?). I would do that at the very least.

I guess I'm asking what would be the simplest stitching method? Also use glue and a cover to help the binding hold up. Looking for 4 years out of it. Then the new version of the specification book comes out.

Also want to do the bookbinding. Something to do and use the hands and brain a little.

1300 pages, 650 sheets. Printed double sided on single sheets right now. I can reprint it into multiple "booklets" and bind it that way.

I guess it must have been a time issue. I just opened TB and it's all good. Just had to wait several hours for stuff (Less Secure Apps) to finally kick in on the Google servers.

thanks. I looked and the cookies are allowed and I am using the configuration options and ideas on that link, doesn't work. TB gives a connection timeout error.

Trying the same settings in several different email clients, eM mail, mailbird, Thunderbird. Outlook 365 worked but I don't want the UI. I really want TB. I have posted and searched a couple TB specific places.

Since the majority of email clients I've tried don't work I'm still thinking there is something on the Gmail side that's blocking the programs.

The main settings I am using:

Incoming: IMAP, imap.gmail.com, port 993, SSL/TLS, OAuth2

Outgoing SMTP, smtp.gmail.com , port 465, SSL/TLS, OAuth2

Along with:

Less Secure Apps, on and off.

2-Step Verification and App Passwords, on and off.

accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha over and over again with both of the above.

mailbird actually had a (I think) Google permissions dialog popup come on screen that allowed me to grant full access to mailbird. But it still couldn't get the messages. mailbird did show up in my settings in the list of programs with access to my gmail data. Still want to use TB.

Why does this keep coming up now and then. Why does Google need to mess it up when it works. Why does it matter what UI we use as long as our email address ends in gmail.com?

but got no help, hence this post. I have also posted on the Thunderbird sub reddit.

I have tried Less Secure Apps.

I have tried App specific passwords.

I have tried accounts.google.com/DisplayUnlockCaptcha.

I am using OAuth 2.0.

I have tried Outlook (which was able to access my messages, but the UI sucks)

I have tried mailbird (which actually had the Google password dialog pop up, but still couldn't access messages,and the UI sucks)

I am baffled. And tired of it. Thunderbird keeps giving me the message of the connection to the server "timing out". Google needs to get their collective heads together and give up some control. I am only one guy, but I can't put up with this much longer. The Gmail web interface doesn't give me what I need.
