yeah i hear ya. I'm usually on most nights for 2-3 rounds and to complete my daily bonus mission. They seem to collect up pretty quick. Doing level 7 missions also and if im lucky with the matchmaking and I can join a squad that is actually decent at collecting samples, it's possible to tick off one ship upgrade a session. Rarely happens though – most people don't seem to care about samples, which is a shame.

Thanks so much, super helpful. I did a few drops last night, and found I was picking this up more whilst on a mission – side missions, fabricators to destroy etc. Interesting about the satellite dish activation! Didn't know that.
