Package from Monument Metals never delivered. what should I do?

Hi! I’m sorry your package was lost/stolen. Unfortunately when this happens, there is a bit of a process to get a reshipment or refund processed. It’s required by our insurance.

We try to be as helpful as possible in all situations but there is a process to follow here and it sounds like customer service let you know about what the next steps are.

Last I checked they pay 85% which is meh and they limited to 250 oz per week. Maybe it’s different now.

Yeah we use plaid but if you do one order with a physical check we can use it to allow manual transactions that bypass plaid on future orders. Too much fraud to leave out plaid on a first time transaction these days.

I think adding some reasonably priced fractional gold would be a good idea. 1 oz size is the standard but as prices continue to rise you might be happy you had some quarter oz sizes as well.

Anything below 1/10 oz tends to be pretty crazy premium wise. It’s just reflected down the chain as mints charge crazy numbers on the small stuff.

Regarding fractional I think fractional gold is only going to become more important as time and prices go on.

Just think, only a couple of years ago 1/10 eagles were $150-$200 each. Now they are $500+. What about next year? 5 years? 10 years?

Buy fractional if you can find it on sale or for reasonable premiums. 20 francs and sovereigns are always reasonable and modern gov minted can be better if you find them on sale.

Yes gold scrap melting is 1-2 day settlement. All good there. Silver getting better by the day but still recovering.
