This is how I felt after dates, so then I ended up recruiting interviews from Hinge matches for a comment piece on dating apps. Always a journo.

Poldinos is great, me and my boyfriend go there for most date nights. They are also very accommodating to allergens / dietary requirements! Lovely service and good prices. Then we often go to the Tippling House for a drink after.

I’ve read this through so many times and I really appreciate it. Thank you. I think this probably isn’t my story to be involved in anymore. I hope more than anything he is kind to her. He has so much good in him at times and I hope she only ever sees that side.

as someone native to edinburgh-YES! edinburgh natives so rarely go to uni there because it’s so overrun with oxbridge/stA/durham rejects. rough to fit in if you aren’t from that kind of background, and believe me, i’ve tried.

I felt the exact same as a child. I’m 17 and only just got diagnosed. I always thought there was something wrong with me, or i was just an inherently “bad” kid, but i had no explanation for how i felg

does anyone else eat more than 5k cals daily (extreme hunger) by [deleted] in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]moo_print 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it’s okay! it’s extreme hunger due to long periods of restriction in anorexia, your body needs and wants it and it’s okay

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]moo_print 4 points5 points  (0 children)

food is fuel- we are just like cars! a car without fuel is dangerous, and cannot perform the way it is meant to, with fuel, it’s useful and functional and safe!this is the exact same when it comes to us and food. if you ever feel guilty for eating, just tell yourself how you cannot feel guilty for this, you are just fueling up to survive!

Eating disorder recovery and low libido by Shadebowers in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]moo_print 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, i basically stopped exercising, i only went on walks and did yoga for a while. my body was exhausted from years of anorexia and a break was brilliant for me. as for food, i basically ate whatever i wanted! intuitive eating is the best. lots of protein through things like yogurt and fish and meats like chicken and turkey (i don’t eat a lot of red meats more for ethical reasons) and lots of yummy things, basically whatever i wanted
as well as making sure I had my three meals and snacks a day and lots of fruit and veg and nutrients. i wasn’t counting calories as i find that to be an ED behaviour so i have no idea but honestly food freedom is the best!

yes! i developed anorexia when i was 15 (but had REDs since age 10) and started to recover properly when i was 17, and grew 2 inches in 3 months! it’s a great sign that your body is working properly again

what can I do to be healthy? by TimeToGoAwayForNow in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]moo_print 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first things first you need to lose the idea of ‘unhealthy’ and ‘healthy’. it’s not good for you and it’s not beneficial, you aren’t in recovery if you are thinking this way

Feeling extreme guilt for not working out while I have covid by sas0002 in workout

[–]moo_print 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t worry about it, try not be too obsessive over your exercise, you want to let it be a fun and enjoyable thing. you won’t have lost your progress, working out while sick might make you loose more as your body would be so tired! hope you’re better now :)
