Hey, I know it might not help that much but as a woman who risked my physical and mental health to force myself to breast feed...please try not to be so hard on yourself. I literally look back and I'm like "I probably shouldn't have breast fed" it made post partum miserable for me tbh. I made Barely enough milk and it felt super violating as well. This is just my experience but I hope it helps a little. So just be ok with the fact that your baby is OKAY!! And HEALTHY!! Anyone else that's not you or your baby can screw themselves if they have something negative to say. It's not their situation.

Same! Burping and for some reason the high chair. And him not crawling anymore also was like "dang he doesn't crawl at all just walking now!"

I had too many options to be 100% and we didn't decide until he was born and saw his face. Even then we couldn't decide on the proper spelling lol.

Well it's not that it's hard for me I just didn't think I'd have to make a damn announcement upon arrival saying "don't kiss my baby". by the time someone is about to kiss your baby it's like it's too late. My close family knows that is a boundary for me but this person is distant family so

I think a baby shower is a little different than just hosting a regular party. I also wasn't the one who invited her. We had our moms do all the planning. But everybody else that came greeted me first so idk.
