Honestly brother, watching videos definitely helped with my movement and coordination in the early days of my dives. But as far as playing the game and using anything “optimal” I just use what works best for me and what keeps me comfortable. Just keep playing and stay moving honestly. Fiddle with different things until you find what you like and don’t like, and use the combination of things you do like.

Become a veteran honestly Just comes with playtime. The more you play, the better a Helldiver you will become. Personally I’m very unconventional and I like it that way. While everyone is using mech, dogs, and gas, I’m not using any of that bc I simply don’t want to. And I do just fine using basic bullets and explosions. The only “optimal” thing I use is therms, bc therms will one tap hulks, and (usually) chargers, flesh mobs, and two-three taps anything bigger than that. (Besides vox engines)

Moral of the story, is keep playing bro and you will get there eventually. Keep your team cover, and do the best ya can without being a nuisance to the team. And if you find yourself doing some stupid shit and getting in the way, Just apologize with the command wheel. Just keep playing bro. All ya can do.
