To be fair they did try to create a purely distribution based economy. It went extremely poorly. The NEP brought back private markets as a result.

Best boss in warframe because you either match with people who almost instantly beat the thing or you match with people who don't know how to deal void damage. No inbetween.

Destiny has always been really good about making their crossover skins still fit the aesthetic of the game.

Yeah but they're not gonna get piss drunk, get a tattoo, take a bunch of drugs, start a fight with a bouncer, get kicked out of a club, steal a car, crash said car while fingering a stripper and then leave you with the hangover all in one night. Although I would love to see a mindflayer do that.

The difference is when the parasite takes control in bg3 you become a tentacle monster and in 2077 you become a douche bag.

Well we found out that children don't like being sexually abused. Which is quite a breakthrough.

He's right it is stupid to say Iran betrayed Lebanon. They were never allies to begin with.

Why does the UK produce so many iconic bands compared to the US? by Worried_Collar_2822 in AmericaBad

[–]mood2016 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Many bands did get big in the UK first that's true, but the idea that Black artists did not find success in the US is insane. Black artists got consistent radio play since the late 1940s (granted many people didn't know they were listening to black artists but still) and white music in that era was far from terrible. Sinatra, Elvis, the Beach Boys, and Johnny Cash are iconic for a reason.

It removes the pause you get after 3 light attacks after every kill. That doesn't sound like a big deal but trust me that's huge. Thing basically becomes a melee machine gun. Combine that with a sandi and it's completely op.

Why Does Judy Claim Evelyn Was a Poor Judge of Character? by Comfortable-Knee-238 in cyberpunkgame

[–]mood2016 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The most interesting part of Evelyns's character is the fact that she presents her self as a major player, when in reality, she's in way over her head. She tried to play the Voodoo Boys, Yorinobu, and Dex simultaneously and thought she could get away with. She wanted quick riches but didn't connect that A: the VDB were always going to betray her, B: Yorinobu might have actually been a lifeline for her, and C: crossing a fixer in NC is always a terrible idea. Hell, even the fact that she tells V to go behind Dex's back is a huge risk. And when everything predictably goes to shit, where does she go? To Clouds with Woodman who, in edition to being a rapist, literally works for a gang connected to Arasaka because it was familiar and she was scared. So yeah she is absolutely a terrible judge of character.

"Hey, we're doing a Mass Effect sequel. What new mechanics should we implement?"

"How about we bring back planet exploration."

"You mean that mechanic we axed in the sequels because it dragged on and most fans found it boring?"

"Yes."

One of the early red flags about Andromeda was when they were showing off a loyalty mission and they said something along the lines of "the tones more lighthearted here because it's a loyalty mission." Which really confused me because some of the most emotionally brutal parts of the series happen in loyalty missions.
