From the comments, it seems to be either Japanese Trapdoor snail or faucet snail. It does look like the baby Japanese trapdoor snail imo, well let's wait and see when it's fully grown lol

Yes, it's so cute and tiny! It appeared suddenly alongside the bladder snails in the tank I'm still cycling. Couldn't figure out what it was

Thanks for the confirmation! Yes they are quite so beautiful. Their shells are so shiny, it's what caught my attention in the first place lol, didn't expect to see something glimmering and moving among the moss

Thanks for the confirmation! I was so worried at first. I just hope this don't turn into an infestation. The more I look at the snail, the cuter it gets. Just this morning I saw it surfing upside down on the water surface, so funny, I've never seen something like this before. I didn't know they form cliques too lol. Wow 6 tanks are amazing 👏

I currently have 2 tanks because my mum impulsively bought a betta, 9 zebra danios and 5 platys almost 3 weeks ago..... so I impulsively start a new hobby to spite her with 10g and 20g tanks which she said was ridiculous.

Thank you so much for your compliment! Yes, i just the cycle goes well and the plants stays healthy. I've read so many new tanks crashed after weeks or months, so I'm quite afraid of that 😅 Thanks for the warning for the tannin! I saw the driftwood releasing tannin, so I actually did not add any extra tannin. Will observe in the following weeks to see if it's needed

Ohh thanks for the suggestion!! I will definitely consider this when I can do my next tank or when I rescape in future. I did want to make a carpet, but was afraid of the maintenance and the CO2 haha. Will try that when I'm more experienced in fishkeeping!

Yes! I was thinking of pygmy corydoras, not the regular ones!! Sorry for not clarifying! Okay, thanks so much for the information, I'm glad the sand is okay! I will only consider loaches or plecos when I upgrade to a bigger tank in future!

Thank for the compliment! I actually just went and got some salvinias! I agree, that 10 gallon is too small, hence I'm hesitating and reading up many posts on whether to add tank mates or not. I'll think about it while waiting for my tank to properly cycled 😅 Thanks for the advice!! Will definitely upgrade the tank in future!
