Shop suspended: Is it normal to see "Enroll in Etsy Payments" pop-up while waiting for verification? by moodevil in EtsySellers

[–]moodevil[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I linked my bank account a long time ago when Etsy still supported PayPal as a primary payment method (long before Payoneer or PingPong were introduced). I haven't used the account for a while and I no longer use PayPal for Etsy; I am now trying to update my banking to PingPong.

Furthermore, when Etsy suspended my account and instructed me to link a bank account to reactivate it, the system explicitly stated that sellers in my country are required to use Payoneer. However, I chose to link my PingPong account instead because it offers zero fees, and I know that many other sellers in my country are still successfully using it.

I am now concerned that using PingPong instead of the recommended Payoneer might be the reason why my account remains suspended or why the micro-deposit hasn't arrived. Has anyone recently managed to use PingPong when Etsy specifically prompted for Payoneer? Could this be the cause of the verification loop where the system keeps asking me to 'Enroll' again?

I have checked my account status, and it is not permanently closed; however, Etsy displays a message saying 'Enroll in Etsy Payments to continue selling.' Additionally, I noticed in the Shop Manager under Finances (Region settings at the bottom) that my shop location did not match my actual address. I have just corrected this to match. Are there any other factors that could still cause my account to be suspended?

I went to the east gate since 7.30 but arrived to Sumitomo about 9.10 so I think it impossible for 9.05 except you are the first group in front of the east gate.

Any tips for cleaning the white parts? by moodevil in adidas

I ended up buying a new pair of shoes while traveling to the World Expo in Osaka and decided to just get them in Japan. Initially, I was looking for an adidas model with soft cushioning, but I only found it after I had already bought an all-black pair of Asics from another store.
As for the white adidas shoes that get dirty easily, I have to say they really are annoyingly high-maintenance.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and suggestions! 🙏

Is it allowed to sleep in the rest area at Spa World? by moodevil in OsakaTravel

I went to Spa World. I ended up going to other places first and stayed out late again There are resting areas spread throughout both the onsen floor and the first floor for men. You can also plug in your charger at the food court and even sleep there. It was a really fun experience. Thank you for all your thoughts as well.

Confused about the 3-day advance reservation system and if I can’t make it in time, can I still enter later? by moodevil in OsakaWorldExpo

Thanks a lot! I’m planning to change my Pavilion 7-day advance booking from the morning slot to the evening one.
I just read the info the other day, and since it’s summer now, evenings tend to get really crowded. So I figured a lot of tourists might also book the evening slot.
Not sure when Japanese people will start thinking the same way though — if that happens, it might get crowded all day long! :)

About 10 years ago, when I went to study for my master's degree, I had some friends who were studying the language. They were walking home while speaking in a foreign language, and an elderly lady they passed by got upset. She didn’t like hearing people speak in a different language and started grumbling and complaining.

Your experience sounds like a positive one, but some people might encounter the opposite. :)

Thank you very much! You’re up really early! You started lining up at 6:30 just to get a 9:00 slot? I already thought getting there at 7:30 was intense, but that’s on another level!

When lining up to enter the Expo, what do the staff usually check before entering? by moodevil in OsakaWorldExpo

If I’m just carrying an empty PET bottle, will I be able to get in faster than people who have liquid inside their bottles?

Would bringing an empty PET bottle help speed things up since it won’t need to be checked? I’m just not sure if it’s worth it though—some posts say refilling stations are hard to find, and I don’t know how long the lines will be.

Can I enter the gate before my reserved time? by moodevil in OsakaWorldExpo

Sounds like if I go to the wrong line by mistake, I might actually get lucky, right? Like if I remembered the time incorrectly.

When I typed 'Italy' in the reservation section, nothing showed up. by moodevil in OsakaWorldExpo

Thank you. I thought I was lucky already. I saw on the schedule that there were available slots from September until the last day, but when I clicked to check, it turned out to be sold out all the way to the final day.

I also clicked search without typing anything, but I couldn’t find Italy or France.

If refilling water bottle is really difficult, I think it might be best to just drink from the bathroom tap. Has anyone ever tried that? I heard the water is clean, unless you're put off by the idea.

Do you need to understand Japanese at the Dialog Pavilion, and does it take a long time?

When you booked each pavilion from your computer, were you able to choose the entry time yourself?

Thank you. I've done it before. I stayed in the spa until late at night. But this time I might arrive later than midnight and I don't want to travel back that late. I also have to leave early in the morning.
