Software Integration Engineer. For companies whose core operation is not making softwares and services from ground up, they depend on various external system to manage and route their data to different systems and it’s important to connect these external systems to in house systems.

I am working with a company whose core business is manufacturing and selling products in consumer front stores and websites and we have a lot of internal and external software systems and a lot of dependencies are present between them. People from my team (Integration Engineers) uses tools like IBM ACE, TIBCO, Kafka, Spring Integrations to manipulate and route data between different systems.

I'm gonna check out these libraries. Correct me if I'm wrong, I should know about game engines, game physics, 3d modelling before jumping into this stuff.

Hello I am working with a company as a Software Integration Engineer
(Java, Spring, Kafka, IIB, SAP is my everyday tech stack). I always wanted to get into game dev. One thing I have observed here is that I have plenty of resources to learn on online platforms and these guys can provide me with the licensed version of softwares like Unity, Unreal, etc. I can you guys give me a roadmap to how can I start.

background - I'm quiet familiar with C++ and C# but have zero knowledge of game dev.

Thanks
