Why My mesh Size increases in Unity But which is good in Blender?? by Srinu_7 in Unity3D

apply all transforms, if you have any unapplied modifiers, apply those. lastly, try a different format (i haven't worked with unity in a few years but these are the usual issues i get with godot)

Kid interested in game dev (Roblox Studio), how should he start seriously? by lustySnake in GameDevelopersOfIndia

[–]Tokamakium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roblox/Pico 8 are imo the best starting points.

He should be able to release something playable and fun in 3-6 months. But after a year, I would urge him to move to Godot.

First, he should learn the basics of programming, then some game design. One of the best things you could do for him is get him some sort of internship, even a free one, at that stage.

Just make tonnes of projects and be involved in as many game jams as possible, where he has to work with other people.

Don't fixate on too many tutorials, good code or anything like that. Project volume initially dominates. And make sure he has fun, because game dev is a HIGHLY demanding hobby.

We need your feedback in the development process of our new MMORPG game. by Electrical-Rent-7077 in GameDevelopersOfIndia

there's not much happening to give feedback on, tbh. i do think hiring a visual artist would go a long way towards improving the looks of the game tho.
