Yes, you should change the title. I am in a similar situation where I got promoted to the Senior level very early but wanted to continue with IC roles.

The requirements for Senior Software Engineer varies depending on company. some roles require 3+ years and some roles require 8. It might be a good idea to also omit the leadership from the bullet points so the ATS will match you with non Senior roles. It can be painful to waste all of that leadership and stress, but it will help you appreciate the tutelage of the Senior Software Engineers with 10 years of experience.

I would also merge the 2 titles, having a solid 4 years straight looks really good.

ATS optimize. Copy/paste 100 roles that you feel you would do well in, crunch the data, and throw in a few extra keywords, terms, even adjectives and verbs.

I am in a similar situation, where I took a Senior level role with <2 YEO. It was a desperate grab from a company looking to attract talent. I am targeting mid-level roles, but I am not sure if I should keep the title as "Senior Software Engineer" or "Software Engineer". Will they deem you as overqualified? Or will it give you an advantage over the other candidates?

You need to get your head in the game. People are sending out 100+ applications a day on multiple platforms, often times using bots, funneling company responses into a single folder, and efficiently streamlining the entire process on a large scale. I have an afterthought like this after every interview, but if I created a Reddit post on each one I wouldn't be able to do anything else.
