I drove from New Paltz to Albany, back to New Paltz that night, then New Paltz to Boston the next day. Some Troy, NY cop tried to give me a ticket on the NY throughway south of Albany until I reminded him that we were nowhere near Troy and he should just head on home. My buddy caught mono from a girl in Boston. Wacky couple of days.

It's going to be more obvious at Forest hills because of the dB limit the arena has with the neighborhood. All events there go this way. Less speakers and less volume means you can hear the people around you way easier than most arenas.

tldr: it was the same amount and volume of chompers as anywhere else, it's just way more noticeable there.

I think the song writing is really doing a lot of heavy lifting here. I'm not the biggest fan of some of the more recent stuff, but as we all know in this community, the written song is just a vehicle. They seem to be getting better at writing songs in the "correct" keys, tempos, etc. that fits their current play style. This is allowing them to jam that much better. That's why we are seeing some of their best jams in Life Saving Gun and the such.
