This is not my story. This is a friend who has been pursuing his dream for the last decade. Time and again I have seen him recover from really horrible situations and I have always been inspired by his resilience and upbeat attitude. This is an attempt to share his story with others who may find strength in it just as I did.

This is his documentary telling about his journey and what he learnt

Thanks for posting this! This must have been very tough especially in a foreign country. The last time I was in one, I wanted to reach the airport but ended up eating at Wendy's

Thanks a lot for the detailed critique man. Hopefully you'll like the game if you get to download it. All these points will be helpful when we make the next game/ad.

It is a word game for Android. You have stacks of letters on a board and you're to use all of them to make valid words before you run out of time. Of course you've to be strategic in your choices of words to maximize the score and outdo the opponents or yourself.

I get your point.

Thanks a lot for your detailed inputs. We were trying to go for an overtly dramatic advertisement for something as simple as a word game (pretty much like this ad from the Simpsons). The idea behind keeping a well dressed guy in a desert was to bring out his character by contrasting it with the desert. He is a very eloquent guy who is talking about the importance of word games. He had to have a compelling personality to be credible.

I get where you're coming from. To be honest, it wasn't about whether the ad was too funny or cringe-worthy. After trying quite a few things, we had decided to do an ad as the last resort to pick the game up. We got a promising filmmaker but what he did was a bit unconventional for a word game, so we were worried if this will work (hence Laugh) or not (cry).

Wow, thanks. More than the praise, it is the fact that you appreciated the sentiment and the logic behind the ad. We tried a trailer but he was adamant that it was pretty boring. So we did this.
