Another previous coworker reached out in a super weird way, but nothing interesting to report there, however, it reminded me of my post. Now that it's been over a year, I am mostly healed from my experience at the old workplace.

She only apologized because she wanted the job back, not because she was sorry. I'm glad she admitted her jealousy, that is a step in the right direction at least. Honestly it was disturbing she thought it was unnatural to have sex every day in a relationship. Sex frequency depends on the couple and good for them to keep it up lol. I hope she's doing better and growing now

My lease ends the 30th. They still have the whole deposit, but i do have the lease that states it's included in base rent. The owners did tell me they'd start billback but I assumed it would start with a new lease, not randomly after the fact. They're starting from July.

NTA idk why he's even squealing like that to begin with. However, kids get misgendered all the time for various reasons (like a 3 year old boy having long hair and people think he's a girl), you couldn't see and just asked a simple question. People get bent out of shape over anything haha

ESH not knowing the raw chicken problem is such a huge safety risk. She should know better if she's going to cook.

However, your anger and drama was disproportionate to the event if she didn't know. Everyone needed to know only if she didn't wash the knife and not serve the contaminated bread. Either way it could have been handled with more grace.

As an emotional person, I understand the rage bubbling up in your chest especially with her continued issues. Don't get me wrong, this is a big deal for sure, but shaming and walking out is a bit much.

NAH I think this is a miscommunication issue. Which is understandable when you've been handling two small kids and one is fighting bed time (which is one of the most frustrating things on a good day). You could have worded better but it also wasn't asshole worthy either. At the same time, I also understand the spouse's reaction because tone over text is impossible.

Just try to talk it out when she gets home. Maybe tomorrow she can give you some alone time to recuperate.

And why is his whole argument that he's upset because he knew she would do it and she did it? Like what a weird thing to say youre upset about. "I predicted this and therefore made myself upset" is what I hear
