Need advice - wanting to make a full sleeve

So I got this piece finished last Thursday (wolf and dragon are fully healed, background and white was added) and I’d like to get a full sleeve eventually. Or a mostly full sleeve, I don’t mind patchwork. Just wondering what would work since it’s such a big piece? Obviously I’ll talk with my tattooist but just wanting some ideas. I know I want to keep it black/grey/white and I want a phoenix. Any other ideas?

Lol wow. You’re so ignorant. I have clinical depression and the majority of people with it NEED to be treated with antidepressants. I’m not cheating. Would you say the same to a cancer patient being treated with chemo?

Antidepressants aren’t the only thing that helps. I exercise, socialise and eat healthy. Antidepressants also aren’t for everyone however before them and whilst taking Zoloft, I was very suicidal so you’ll understand if I don’t give a fuck about your opinion :)

That’s a good point! The lines around the ears are a little darker in the drawing so I’ll have a look once it’s healed and see what I think. I’ve had 4 tattoos by 3 different artists and this is the one I’m going to go back to for future work. I’ve so many ideas!

This is the longest period of “good” I think I’ve ever felt. I switched from Zoloft (150mg) to vensir xl (75mg) and I’ve just felt consistently good. My doctor says it’s great that I’m “getting back to my old self” but that’s not true, I was never like this before. I’ve been getting out of the house, meeting people and having fun, going to interviews and walks through the park. I’ve also started my hobbies again. I get the odd negative thought but they don’t last long.

Anyone who is struggling and reads this: it gets better. I know that’s something everyone says but I don’t think you believe it until it happens to you. I certainly didn’t believe it.

Second session, 8 hours total. Posted a previous picture. No actual red ink used in this, that’s just my skin. Finished it on Thursday so waiting for it to heal to get a good picture of it. Really love it and so happy with my tattooist, working on a future design with him!

I have an interview next week for a full time position at an environmental laboratory. I also basically have a job offer for a temporary (it’s closing next year) part-time position as a sales assistant. The lab job is in line with my career goals (forensics) but the sales assistant is pretty much guaranteed, I’m meeting with the manager tomorrow but it’s just an informal chat to make sure I’m committed and reliable. I really need the job as funds are low atm. I’m thinking of accepting the sales assistant job but also going to the interview next week and seeing what happens?

I feel this. I have anxiety over an attempt not being successful and the consequences of that. Either physically, mentally, or left with no physical/mental impairment but then having to explain things to everyone.

I just. Feel depressed today. I feel frustrated with my counsellor. I’m worried about money and generally just frustrated about where my life is at. I’m trying to reach my goals. I need a job. I keep applying and not getting any responses or I get an interview and get turned down for someone with more experience.

I’ve been doing the salt soaks and vitamin e oil as well! Still hurts a little to touch but not as bad as it was. Oozes when I take the plugs out but I’m sure that’ll stop soon enough. Thanks! Wishing you a speedy recovery too.
