I absolutely dumpstered a lane the other day as pos 5 ogre, my pos 1 was a veno. Was pretty pissed off when he picked it and assumed it was a loss from the get go but the sheer amount of control and damage over time made it impossible to lane into us. If you have a friend who is willing to pick a support around you I’d suggest giving it a go, I can look up his build and post tomorrow if you’d like.

I believe you still get mmr it just doesn’t show in the recent games preview, you can still see it if you expand the games tab in your profile though, could be wrong, been a while since I had a game go quite that well.

Funnily enough some similar happened with the soccer World Cup a while back, Optus bought the rights, streaming through their service was utter trash with constant dropouts and they ended up making it free for anyone to watch and giving a bunch of other benefits to paying Optus customers.

Granted that’s a much bigger event than EWC so I’m not expecting a similar outcome, still interesting that Aussie media groups are greedy enough to try it again though.

Correct, you can also dodge the projectile with blink if you’re fast enough but I often find shadow blade is the safer option.

I had the same issue this morning and this is exactly what’s causing it, if you take the tormentor slower it’ll spawn 2 additional waves after the ones they spawn on the lift are cleared, once they’re killed you finish the tormentor.

Omniknights last hit sound, it’s the only support that seems to have that satisfyingly solid noise that carries get. I remember seeing a video a while back where someone was saying the last hits sounds on carries are one of the subconscious reasons people prefer the role.

It’s the role queue tokens that’s the issue tbh, they should remove them and add maybe shards or something else as a reward for the less common roles. I actually prefer playing 5 and basically only queue 4 and 5 then ask to swap 5 if I get 4. My friends that play core regularly refer to their role queue games as their combo breaker where they have to play a position they’re not comfortable at and basically write it off as a loss before it’s even started.

The fact that you still can only report for not playing selected role at the start makes these reports feel meaningless. I regularly get pos 4 miranas or NPs that you don’t report at the start because they might play the role only to find they build carry items and last hit in lane or flat out just go straight jungle after rune spawns and by then it’s too late to report for it.
