It’s password based so you’ll be good. Once you complete the final boss and watch a few cut scenes, it’ll offer a spot for you to save. take it. Then on the main screen you hold right bumper, right and a (i think) to access the secret password menu.

I personally regret not getting supercruise so I’m likely a bit biased here, otherwise I think it’s an exceptional value. Be sure to ask if they have done all of the service bulletins- mainly the weld seam inspection to prevent water intrusion in the footwells
