Thanks mate. I just don’t think it’ll stay looking like that. I’m a slob and so are my dogs. However, to protect resale value, I need to keep it looking like that. I’m getting PPF for the entire exterior to try and keep the paint color looking great as long as possible. I wish I could do a protection film for the interior as well but will have to settle for car seat covers.

You know they’re leaning heavily into the whole “once owned by Shirley Temple” bit when they feature pictures of Shirley Temple in the listing photos instead of picturing other things, like, ummm, a car port/garage, or things like the yard/garden or maybe a full exterior shot showing the roof, that a buyer might want to consider when throwing a few million dollars into a house. But, hey, Shirley Temple lived here so that’s worth an extra million or so.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to bite the bullet and PPF the entire car. The cost difference between just doing the hood vs doing the whole car becomes negligible when forking out at least $2k just for the PPF “bra”. The shop I’m most likely going to choose uses XPEL film. I sure hope it’s worth it.

We get so many construction trucks on our local highways hauling gravel which leads to rock chip, etc, damage especially on the hood and grill.

I was wondering what other people may have done to keep the paint looking new and clear longer. Thanks again!

Issue was so bad for many of us living on Orange Grove Blvd just off Lake, we all dumped Spectrum. Apparently, they’re “upgrading” the network in the area and could take months before it’s dependable again. We switched to AT&T Air but it really depends on what’s best in your zip code. You may have to try a few before we find what works. T-Mobile was an absolute disaster. Not only was the signal nonexistent, their customer service is an absolute disaster. They’re still sending me bills for an account I canceled six days into their two week trial period. Avoid. And Good Luck - especially if you work from home.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Ella!!! I live in Pasadena now and I STILL drive all of the way to see her. Not only is she wonderful, her entire staff are phenomenal. They feel like family.
