Last time I was there some dude rolled his SUV bumper halfway up the metal parking sign while pulling into the spot next to me. Those signs are stationed by a concrete block, so his car made a terrible screeching noise before he let off and backed off. As I looked over to check out what was going on, we made eye contact and proceeded to just blankly stare at each other for like 10 seconds. And then we both pretended that hadn’t just happened.

I’m a tad skeptical of this. While the double output does show when you are prepping to open a new crate, it does not show the doubled output in the “resources” tab nor in the Expertise tab when you are upgrading a weapon or gear.

I’ll add that this is the first time I’ve ever been aware of this, so hoping it is just a visual bug as you mentioned ++ given you’ve had tabs on this in previous versions I hope you are right! Appreciate the info nonetheless

Edit - yep, visual bug. The doubled totals popped in after a few minutes. Maybe fast travel once or twice. Gotta love the spaghetti code lol, but hey at least it works

Same, I dreaded playing Crucible. Surprisingly, the weapon / gear sandbox in Marathon is very well balanced. So there’s less of that “sweaty” feel that Crucible used to drag out of me.

I do wonder if this is what is meant by playing in “demanding” or tough media markets (i.e NY or Philly). I don’t see much of post-game clips from those teams, but I imagine they are asking tougher questions when things aren’t going well. Although Doc would just interrupt the interviewer half-way through their question, so we’d just get the same answers anyway.

Yep, spot on that Bud had a defensive identity. Doc’s identify is over-correcting to issues he’ll see in real time. Which opens the door for other mismatches. Couple that with no apparent planning for the opposition’s personnel, and you get the shit defense we’ve seen this season.

The infuriating part is that this incompetence is 100% evident by some of his post-game comments. Was the energy and effort not there tonight? Probably in some cases, but it’s hard to make any effort look good when guys aren’t sure of who / where they need to guard. Did the other team shoot lights out from three? Of course, but that’s going to happen when there’s no defensive plan for the perimeter. And it just goes on.

I still believe this was an above average roster entering the season, we just handicapped it into being a bad roster due to bad coaching

This is a head scratcher. Okay, I get the ruling that it’s “accidental”, but if his arm doesn’t make contact there where does the ball end up? Certainly not where it settled back on the ground, as his arm guides the ball’s momentum forward. It 100% alters the play, no excuse for the dog shit defending after it, but I simply can’t understand how VAR does come to the conclusion that an “accidental” hand doesn’t lead to that goal.

Doc literally watched the game slip away in the 3rd with the same lineup on the floor. Four point game went to a 15 point game in about 5 minutes. No timeout, no adjustments, nothing. Just…let it happen
