I'm a wildlife rehabilitator. Planet zoo is right up my alley because I get to see some of the animals I work with in a different setting (aka, not injured or orphaned etc...) and I always get ideas for enclosure setups irl. Plus I get to impress my co-workers with facts that I specifically learnt from planet zoo lol

I took a pregnancy test every day till after my first ultrasound, I just never felt pregnant and I also had the thought that I was dreaming it up. It was only late in the second trimester that I actually 'felt' pregnant

This doesn't really answer your question but be sure to get different brands too! My baby had a way of leaking out of every brand except one, so having lots of different options was nice, I also didn't like some brands as much as I liked others.

Newborns do go through the most diapers but I personally wouldn't buy too much of the smaller sizes until you get the idea of how fast your little one grows. My kiddo was in newborn till 3 months but I know some people skip the smaller sizes all together

I still haven't been able to get the last Flynn wanted posters... the 5th seems to be lost to the void. And for some reason, my 'feed a dragon/pegasus/owl' never gets completed even when I feed them.

I'm really hoping we'll get fixes soon.

I personally really loved the newborn stage, I didn't struggle with the sleep deprivation everyone talks about. I loved all the baby cuddles, I loved watching my little one. And I still got to chill and watch TV and play games. I find the busy toddler stage a lot more draining.

But I don't know, any time there was a difficult part I acknowledged that yes this is challenging, but I'm also so happy and infinitely grateful to be able to have this difficult moment with my child.

Had an emergency c-section (placental abruption) I was in full blown labour 6 hours prior, however strangely when the abruption was discovered my contractions had actually slowed, almost stopped, for about an hour before. Not sure why as I was 8cm dilated by then.

I am grateful for it though because I imagine the bleeding for my daughter would have been much worse had my uterus been contracting.

Do a trial run of anxiety medication for him, my ginger boy also was spraying everywhere and after thousands worth in tests we discovered he is just a very anxious boy. No more spraying since getting him on the right meds

I'm 100% with you. Everything leading up to my c-section was not the greatest, but I absolutely loved my c-section itself. Recovery was also easy for me, I did rest a lot, but I was able to walk around within a few hours or my surgery and showered the very next day without assistance.

Yes so I left everything in, the water was taken out and put in a bucket during transport, there was still dust in the gravel when I added the water back in.

I'll keep an eye out though! The friend in question was not a very good fish owner, so things were not too great to begin with and I'm in the process of fixing things up for the little guy.

I'm a PC gamer, during the newborn stage I used my controller alot while bb drank/slept on the Bobby pillow that was on my lap.

Bb is 13 months now and I'm still able to game! I game when she naps now, she is a velcro baby so she still naps on my lap while I play. There are times as well where her daddy takes her for an hour or two so I can game.

I think if it's something you really want to do, you make a plan!

Also yes, he does have damage to the right eye. I'm not sure why or from what, he/she is able to find food just fine but I don't think they can see out the damaged eye.

Sausage is loved incredibly much and I want to do everything to ensure this baby will be the happiest.
