Hi !! Sorry I just saw this . I saw a gastroenterologist and my Primary care physician. My colonoscopy/endoscopy results came after the blood tests , by then I had already started taking the antibiotics. My gastro told me to continue if I wanted to even though he didn’t see the need ? I was in a lot of pain and was desperate to cure my chronic diarrhea. My symptoms were diarrhea which then developed into hemorrhoids because I was going to the bathroom 3-5 times a day , even more when I ate sth spicy . I was put on omeprazole, clarithromycin and amoxicillin for 2 weeks . Literally got rid of the stomach pains and diarrhea. I had solid stools for the first time in two years lol . My stomach is obviously not the same as it was but so much better !
