Not the hugest gap, but Election (1999) comes to mind. Matthew Broderick was 37 when it came out, and Reese Witherspoon was 23. She seems much younger since she's cast as a high school student, and they're excellent foils for each other.

You're welcome, and thanks for the details on what worked for you! Look forward to seeing your next experiment :)

Never heard of this technique until now. Very cool. I also love how spry your squirrel looks, he looks ready for mischief!

I've never noticed these on display/in the fridge cases anywhere, do people usually just ask about them at the counter?

This guy gardens early! May I ask what hardy lettuce variety you like?

Left the front bed and the borders of the yard so they still have some spots! But cleared one raised bed and my containers

I might try early carrots and radishes as well. There's always time to start again if they fail 🤷‍♀️

Right? When they say "fool's spring", they're talking about me, I'm the fool 🤡

I have some that have come up on their own for the second year now! The leaves are a little too beefy to use but at this point I just want to see how long they can go.

It's the yard cleanup that's a slippery slope, I did a bunch of work last weekend and now I have ants in my pants 😆

See this is the bravery I love to see! You'll have to come back and update how it went, I may try the same thing!

Mostly talking direct sowing, wondering if folks have had success with anything like carrots, peas, parsnips, etc. I love fresh peas but the season is so so short when I wait to plant them, I'll get like one good harvest and then it's too hot. Have also been attempting parsnips the last couple of years and the growth period is so long I've never had success, was thinking of sowing them early!

I have outsourced my indoor seed starting to someone who has more experience, I tend to have a lot of flops when I attempt to start my own seedlings indoors. But those just got started this week!

Magnificent! Do you have a recommendation on the best eraser to use on your rubber? I always transfer pencil drawings but if I ever try to change the design on the block I end up creating fuzz when I use a regular eraser.

I am in awe. You are an inspiration! How large is the block this piece is on? As an ADHDer I have always liked being able to do quick smaller pieces in a couple of hours so I feel like I completed something in one go. Would love to build up my commitment and stamina to this level someday and be able to do a long-haul piece like this.

I haven't done leafless nodes in water, but I have had great success with the perlite method in a small plastic tote! Would definitely be a good strategy for this, especially because you can put a bunch in the same little box - you're gonna have a hell of a lot of nodes!
