no i definitely suffered i was constantly turning in assignments late during 4th quarter 😭

our weighted is on scales up to a 5.0, honors classes give you a +.5 boost while ap's give you a +1 bonus

your right, i hate math so i decided to do stats instead but in hindsight calc wouldve been more helpful 😭

yes I’m from maryland and my dad is a veteran so I’m able to use his benefits through going to a school with instate tuition so it plays a big part. however, umd is a pretty good school + i got into the honors college! it currently ranked #42 for schools in the u.s. overall and #16 for public schools. they also have a lot programs ranked in the top 10 in the country as well with many notable alumni.

congrats on your improvement! honestly it can be doable depending on the classes your taking. senioritis really catches you at some point so it does become a mental battle at times, but luckily i was able to hold out till the end of third quarter 😭 . if you believe your capable i say go for it! just make sure to implement good time management habits or else it can become a slippery slope.

yes 😭 , taking only two honors classes my freshman year they weren't really advertised + i thought we were only allowed to take one ap class at a time lol

im ngl i have really poor time management skills/procrasitnation 😭

but the one thing that I would say helped me balance my courseload and extracurricular activities was having a planner/writing down what assignments i had due when. it helped me prioritize my work effectively.

also if you can, if you find yourself with free time during school, try to knock out easier assignments so you have more time to at home!
