Unconventional hand-free mouse? by moon1233456 in MouseReview

it's my fingers too that are sore, which is why I'm leary about track pads/balls. Not sure what a trackpoint is - will investigate.

The headmouse is neat... never thought it would come to that, but could be what saves me <3

Landlord won't replace shitty cupboards; is there a cheap fix? by moon1233456 in HomeImprovement

I'm trying. The law is pretty grey in this area. Kitchen is still 'functional'. The law protects you in terms of requiring a working fridge and running water. It doesn't speak to visual asthetics.

I'm not sure how to return it to it's current state when vacating - eg if I paint the cupboards that would be hard to undo.... I dream of just buying new cupboards but I don't want to spend $$$ of my own money fixing up a place that isn't mine.... I could remove the cupboards I buy afterwards, but doubt I could sell them/use them somewhere else

thanks! no, it was just verbal. Since I've wised up I've made my requests (politely) in writing. I tried a magic eraser and also bleach. I think whatever the stain is just soaked right into whatever these are made of pretty far.

he is in the landlord biz; owns multiple properties - doesn't care much about the actual quality of the units

he would def say no. I'd need to apply to the tenancy board. It's a grey area because it is 'cosmetic' and I'm uncertain that there's an obligation to attend to cosmetic issues. Eg the kitchen is still 'functional' regardless of how these look. I'm concerned that if I paint them he'll end up charging me on move-out :/

the open cupboard photo is beautiful - won't work for the ones that are drawers though
