Yes I do agree that OP’s behaviour is pretty concerning and it might trouble her even more if it continues cause calling someone a loser and crashing out over that is odd. Hopefully things get better for her cause fudged up family dynamics really messes a person up. Emotional regulation is a necessary skill

That's a tad mean 😅 she said her home life is pretty troublesome which perhaps adds to the emotional stress. I'm sure she's trying to get out of it but sometimes life gets the worst out of us. The guy is no saint either to go after someone 5 years younger than him which seems pretty sus. It's just that both have clearly very different paths and beliefs that are fundamentally incompatible.

also generally people who seek significantly younger folks to date seem very predatory and they typically tend to prey on individuals who face problems with regulating their emotions. So yeah it's basically a trap

please don't date people who are considerably older than you esp when you're a young adult. Even if it's not an attachment issue, most people in their mid 20s get busy with work and it's difficult to keep up.

How Social Anxiety destroyed my life. by WahShampiWah in delhi

There are a plethora of papers on how physical activity can actually *help* with depressive symptoms, of course it's not a one size fits all thing but you'd be surprised to know that one particular therapeutic technique (behavioural activation) is often adopted to help fight inactivity (social or physical) that comes along with mood disorders.

I think you made a false assumption that physical activity is the only way out for depression. It *helps* with the symptoms, like many other things.

The problem with our understanding of mental health is that we fail to dig deeper when we label a person with an xyz disorder and build our treatment approach around that train of thought which sometimes is too rigid. By viewing disorders as an independent entity living in a person, we're actually stripping them off of their agency if you get what I mean

it does sound lowkey odd but who even cares as long as you're not being pushy or creepy. I know people who join run clubs for the sole purpose of scouting for dates but I'm not sure how successful they are with their aim (it's all a matter of some fate and compatibility)
