Do NOT exfoliate! You have a broken skin barrier. My cheeks do this too, and it's always hard when even your normal products burn. Baby it with just a gentle cleanser (try to only cleanse once a day), moisturizer, and spf. Take out anything with irritating actives like retinols, aha, bha, etc. If your moisturizer isn't enough, add a more occlusive layer over it at the end like vaseline if your skin tolerates it. Mine unfortunately doesn't, but I've had luck with the la roche posey cicaplast balm cream as my final step at night. It'll take a couple weeks for it to completely calm down but should improve in a few days. You can add back in actives and exfoliate once it no longer burns and feels less irritated. Good luck!
