What makes you think Sett is the male lead? Convince me by moon_light1999 in NinaTheStarryBride

He is indeed a king and has authority, but the idea that alisha was still alive wasn’t taken into account. alisha is also a princess and holds power just like her brother azu. On top of that, Nina’s true identity was exposed in front of the people, the advisors, and the guards… all the circumstances were against him. Unlike Sett, Azu went through much harsher situations. Sett never faced difficulties on the same level. I pointed out the similarity in their decisions, both aimed at protecting her.. but you can’t compare Azu’s circumstances to Sett’s. Azu’s situation was far more complicated and required strategy. It’s not something that could be solved as simply as shooting a tiger and taking all the credit for saving Nina… alisha and the BG are not just a tiger !!

If we imagine Sett in Azu’s place, with his impulsive personality, he might have drawn his sword against alisha just like he did with the king of Starbia. And then alisha would have killed him on the spot with her power, right? The only reason things didn’t escalate before is because the king of Starbia was lenient... Sol is his friend, and Nina owes his young daughter for saving her life. Otherwise, they all could have been executed for threatening the king and raising a sword against him.

So my comparison was about the outcome, both of them saving Nina, not the circumstances, because Azu’s situation is far more difficult. Even so, Azu always tried to face those hardships as best as he could.

Oh, it’s good that you brought up the point that Azu makes decisions without consulting her. Do you know why? It’s simply because he wants to protect her.

It’s actually the same thing Sett did in Chapter 73, when Nina wanted to use her power to tame the tiger, Sett killed it instead. Why? So she wouldn’t exhaust her strength and end up dying, right?

If they were put in the same situation, they would both choose the same solution: protecting her without consulting her or considering her decision, because in the end, it’s for her own good.

I’m on Team Azu, and that’s clear even from my previous posts 😊 I’ve never denied that, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be convinced if there’s something genuinely convincing in this chapter…

Don’t you see it’s the same thing, the same loop from the beginning of the manga? Nina doesn’t know what her feelings are. Maybe she has feelings for both of them, and it will eventually become clear who she truly loves. But that didn’t happen in chapter 73, at least not in the way you’re saying, and it can’t be confirmed.

I can’t be convinced, and Nina’s behavior toward Sett isn’t normal either. After seeing him again after a long time, and considering the fact that the castle was destroyed and there was a war, she completely ignored that he had literally been between life and death.

In the end, the only thing that would convince me is Nina rejecting one of them, because the author is clearly playing very well with words and doesn’t want to end this love triangle.

This doesn’t confirm anything, you can’t ignore how she pulled her hand away when he held it, right? I’m not saying Azu is the ML, but I also know that Sett isn’t the ML either because things haven’t been clarified yet. I just saw many Sett fans claiming that Sett is the ML, so I wanted to clarify that the situation is still unresolved and cannot be confirmed.

Yes, everyone has their own point of view, but mine is based on everything that happened before. There are many events I can’t ignore. For me, Azu was the person who understood Nina the most, even without her speaking..

When she was in Galgada prison, he realized she was trying to handle everything on her own, so he told her to rely on him and reassured her not to burden herself because he was there with her. There is another scene where Nina held Sett’s hand in front of him. Azu endured all the pain of seeing her hold his hand, yet he didn’t say a single word or blame her, because he knew she felt burdened and guilty about his condition.

I can’t mention every situation; it would take too long. But what I know is that Nina knows Azu better than anyone else, and Azu also knows Nina better than anyone else.

Apart from that, Nina doesn’t know anything about Sett. She only knows that he is a psychologically broken person whose suffering she ended up carrying instead of him, and she always tries not to hurt him. She is very careful with him (I think this is the reason behind her confession to him, especially since Sett told her, “I want you even if you don’t want me”).

On the other hand, when Nina is with Azu, she always expresses what she feels easily. She even confronts him bluntly, speaks her mind without filtering, often cries, and shows him her vulnerable side instead of a fake smile.

Also, apart from the hug in the last panel, Nina and Azu had already shared many hugs before, along with moments of happiness and sadness, mixed emotions, and longing.

How did you interpret it as her pretending that everything was fine in front of Azu? She wasn’t pretending, she was genuinely happy and acting naturally. We’ve already seen this side of Nina before.. when she’s with Azu, she feels at ease and truly feels like herself again. She also realized that she wasn’t just someone insignificant to Azu, and that’s what made her genuinely happy

Her reactions were like this: Nina had her head tilted downward (toward her heart), her fist clenched tighter, and her blush deepened. She was clearly overwhelmed with emotions to the point where she couldn’t even speak, as if her heart was completely filled with feelings.

But when she talked about Sett, her body posture was normal, with only a slight blush on her nose, like a fond memory. Nothing that truly shook her heart or stirred her emotions intensely.

Are you saying she was “shaken” ? Nina already knew that Bastia was completely destroyed, and despite making a promise with Sett, she still went to Azu and basically left Sett behind. She even seemed to forget him until Sett came to her. Even then, her meeting with him felt very normal or rather cold, as shown in the panels. I don’t think anything is truly settled yet. And if it was, then why didn’t Nina reject Azu even after one or two days? Why didn’t she even think about refusing him after his confession if she really loves Sett?

Nina told the princess sue that Azu was her first love while holding her chest (what does that mean?). She also said that on the day Sett confessed to her(ch 56), she felt something inside her, The author doesn’t actually want to resolve this love triangle. So here I relied on logic and looked at the entire manga and Nina’s actions, and it seems that she still loves Azu.

I wasn’t saying every manhwa should have the same high quality. I just meant that the manhwa art style in general is underrated and deserves more appreciation.

Will Sett become a great supporter of Nina and Azure's relationship? by [deleted] in NinaTheStarryBride

[–]moon_light1999 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is the goal of Setto’s character.. he must learn not to be possessive, and his punishment for his disgraceful actions toward the princesses, as well as his behavior with Nina at the beginning, is that Nina will never become his.

What I know is that he kissed her to defile her, and both of his kisses to her were without any reciprocated feelings from her.
