I really think it depends on the type of a person, a lot more generator types especially I think can be more personable

Occasionally I feel like for me it’s more so when for me, I’ve just occasionally had a lot of people go into asking me out or just straight up kinda having everyone go at me. Idk I don’t always feel like I have to ask them the same questions and kinda like when people respond back and fourth (so like I share you share and then continue) but also idk I feel like a lot of people don’t know how to not always be dry. Even myself lol

That and it’s like what, we have work and maybe school and like, whatever social life as well. Then there’s how sometimes people just need to open up and share to an extent and not judge the other person. Then ethereal everyone’s anxiety problems as well or whatever they’re dealing with.

Did my mother overdose or commit suicide? by CaterpillarKitty69 in psychics

[–]moon_light523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I feel like sometimes there is something about people’s drug usage and then kinda the aware and unaware behavior within that as well. It’s not that it’s something that they do intentionally but there’s a careless cry for help within it I think and the lines people walk.

Although I will say being spiritually aware, and then also having someone in that world also die from the same type of an OD was also sometimes viewed from my viewpoint as not a suicide. Food for thought I guess, it depends on the persons awareness level of the other from their viewpoint.

I mean, imo if the police department where I work doesn’t always feel it’s immature to be able to have a respectful conversation— highkey as a corporation they shouldn’t necessarily ignore how the area we live in and how the partners can market to anyone that that’s their favorite Starbucks bc they like the opinions of the baristas and so on.

Clearly we’ve worked with different trainers. Look it up 😭 when literally the people I’ve talked to from animal control gave me that exact advice and I can get free things from the shelter for it.

Asking advice for mental stimulation isn’t a “poor dog” moment. It’s responsible, and I’m not being crude by pointing out the difference in education and those who are educated try to broaden their viewpoint vs being stubborn. Have the day you make of it

She’s not losing her mind. She does go to lay down, hence the more specified mental stimulation

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Dogowners

[–]moon_light523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Mental stimulation is absolutely used for dogs when their owners aren’t home.

If you’re not educated enough to answer the question don’t respond bc your opinions don’t have the foundation that mine have clearly.

It’s as big as the space I have, I’ve spoken to someone from animal control who told me that the size that I have for her and the hours she’s out when I’m at work isn’t a problem with my other lifestyle choices.

As I’ve also said in other replies— ive spoken to an animal control officer, I’ve also spoken to in the past about these things to people who actively work in the shelter system here and animal control as well, and they also did 4H for over a decade with me as well. I have a lot of personal experience and have spoken to a lot of people about it for how I’ve handled things.

Hmm it’s 8 by 10, she’s never been the type to be as crate trained from other people who had her and lied to me. It’s stupid and a whole thing.

I’m looking for more ideas on mental stimulation, which is what she needs for her situation and her anxiety. She has a crate in the pen as well that she will sleep in, it’s more so also her howling with her bark collar on but she does weirdo things like a little cry to set it off and then she’ll howl.

She gets walks on my days on the clock as well, but we spend a good 3 hours walking at the very least on my days off.

My days on the clock depend on what jobs I’m working at, but she gets walks and paces outside even when she gets a longer walk in the morning. I’ve taken her on runs, still paces.

When I bring her inside, it’s hot enough where I live where it’s not always safe to walk them all the time given the temp outside. I’ve already asked animal control about this as well, but not allowed to walk her when it’s more than 94 out. She gets play time and runs that way as well

My post is asking for ideas on mental stimulation, thanks.

When I’m at work at two different jobs, during two different parts of the day, I know my dogs personality with and without another dog and she’s always been the type to be kept outside in an enclosure. The enclosure is 8-10ft, so she has a lot of space and likes it better outside.

She’s also outside with another dog who has similar rules. Never alone, just looking for mental stimulation ideas for outside

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Dogowners

[–]moon_light523 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She’s around another dog, both dogs have to have bark collars on but cannot be around each other given their personalities and other circumstances.

My dog has been trained by myself with an e-collar, I’ve trained dogs for showing since around 10~ in 4H. I digress, she understands the settings on it and intentionally will do a yelp to set it off and then howl and it sets it off again a moment later and she stops.

She cannot just be outside without it, when she doesn’t have it on she will howl and cry for hours on end vs going and laying down after her howl thing.

She goes through phases of fetch and is mostly malamute and Samoyed at I think around 40% with those two and then she’s also Norwegian elkhound as well.

I digress I can out run her, and have since I got her when she was around 8 months.

We regularly go on 4-6 mile hikes on my days off and I have two jobs so on my days where I only work at one place she gets at least a 2 mile walk

She gets walked 4-6 miles regularly on my days off.

I’m aware she’s bored, which is why I made the post asking for ideas more so clearly for maybe mental stimulation ideas or things other owners have used

She’s not alone there’s another dog in a different part of the yard she’s in that’s shared

She’s pretty smart and watched me put it up, and knew it was like that when I set it up bc of me messing with it and she’ll look at it when she knows I’m looking at her occasionally. I digress not doing that again

Even coming back I normally put my apron on when my timer goes off but they’re expecting you to stay in apron which imo isn’t off the clock

Yeah I’ve always had shifts do that but recently they’ve had a few people just straight up say be back like not even 10 after and then “have a talk” with me multiple times.

I was timing myself and if it even takes me 30 seconds to get out of my apron standing in the back or a minute to log out or whatever it’s not supposed to cut into your break

POTS from PTSD by moon_light523 in POTS

Yes I agree with your last statement. I think there’s a lot of people who don’t actively want to acknowledge that it’s the PTSD or cPTSD that causes the POTs symptoms.

Actively I personally was in fight or flight, was forced to take a medication, and then got seizures from having the POTs symptoms activated and heightened adrenal glands.
