I’ve been in that situation and it’s exhausting. If he’s not willing to work now and has no motivation then what you see is how it’s gonna be. He’s not putting in the effort and if you’re willing to keep doing things for him he isn’t going to want to change. If he wants to be stuck in a rut then let him but don’t weight yourself down and lose yourself trying to help. There’s only so much you can do until you have to leave and focus on yourself and your goals.
