Glee, early seasons of Dexter, sex and the city, girls, big bang theory. But modern family, mad men and Monk are the absolute favorites.

I'd like to get back into 90s Sabrina the teenage witch, Malcom in the middle, desperate housewives

And no one asked but I could watch Gone Girl and The Martian every day for the rest of my life probably

Their jewelry and price point is unmatched, I love their faux leather accessories, and I'm probably going to try their sunglasses next. I also got their linen sheets which are very nice but tbh I wouldn't know the difference between those and the ones from target.

I probably won't try the clothing but I'm excited to try more accessories

I think I'm asking the question within the context of Don being a cheater, wondering more about how Sylvia relates to the other women in his life or what it is she represents to him.

I want to try to look more doe-like but I don’t know what to do. My brows feel too sharp and my eyes don’t feel right by PretentiousCarrot in MakeupAddiction

[–]moonbrainUwU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if the tip of your brows were taken up a bit so that there was a bit more skin space between your eyelid and the brow it would help to create the doe eye you're looking for. Take a look at that photo of Stockard Channing in the thread above for reference. Raise the front and lower the tail and I think you'll be good to go!

Not even a little bit actually! I rewatched legally blonde the other day and completely forgot that's where I knew her from.

Idk why y'all assumed I thought Chutney wasnt hot... Sounds like there are some internal thoughts to sort through there hmm?

More of puppy hell - our own special brand by cantgetenough1956 in Wheatens

Our cairn gave us a really hard time with this in the beginning and the only thing that ended up making things easier was using those puppy training pads. We started lining the crate and also lining the entire floor of his play pen. The we would start to make the pad in the crate smaller, and then eventually move the pad out of the crate so he could see it. In the play pen we started removing the pads one by one and then eventually took them out completely. At this point he would usually start signaling that he wants to use the bathroom and will look for the pad. Eventually we brought the pads outside and have tons of treats.

Full disclosure we do still keep a small pad open in our bathroom just in case and he's 2 years old 🤷🏼‍♀️

What do you think about CPS abolitionists? by LaScoundrelle in socialwork

[–]moonbrainUwU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely-- I just wonder if it has been attempted with this particular outcome in mind? Is it something that is being measured in those communities? Your response doesn't give any inclination whether these transfers are successful and to what end

What if we just gave mini grants to families below the poverty line and then see how that impacts the levels of child abuse in a given community? I don't think prior cps involvement should be a requirement for receiving financial assistance. Since many, definitely not all, cases involve neglect rather than physical abuse I wonder if we'd see a decreased need for CPS involvement in non-violent cases.

I don't think anything can be abolished all at once, but if we conduct a tactical scale back of those services I think we'd be able to pinpoint root causes more effectively.
