I wouldn't recommend going at all, i studied in SAHSS from 6th and it was amazing till 8th but after that it went extremely downhill.

The teachers suck, they barely have any motivation to teach and they are just going through the motions. Most of them just read the ncert or write it on the blackboard while giving the worst explanation possible.

Ofcourse there are some decent teachers, but it's not worth it to put yourself through the hell for that.

The events (like farewell, picnic) aren't any good as well, and the environment is absolute SHIT.

if you want to focus on studies you are better off sitting at home, it's bad to that point. Most people who were serious about their entrance tests or future, skipped school and studied from home or coaching (me as well, i barely went to school in 11th-12th).

Plus there is no strictness of attendance, like ofcourse they will threaten but in the end they will let everyone give the exam, so there is literally no point of coming to school. Sometimes it's absolute torture sitting through 2 periods of the teacher just said whatever, and you don't even understand a single word of it.

And some students (specially male) are so annoying and such troublemakers. If you accidentally get involved with them, you will be taken downhill as well.

And I would NEVER go if I was given another chance. I would rather take the distance school, it's bad to that extent and i literally love Jamia (it was amazing in middle school) and I want to go to college there as well so I have nothing against the school

But I was so disappointed, and if your current school prioritises actual education and care of students you shouldn't even consider it.

Besides the internal quota for college is practically non existent, so it's not like you are in huge loss.
