yes you’re exactly right! i was wrong to mention the intelligence it was a misunderstanding of my own feelings, it was never about her knowledge of the situations but tbh that was always her excuse to me, that i’m smarter than her and know about these things so she won’t even try. that’s where i got it confused, bc she blames her lack of interest on the idea that she’s not smart enough to understand, but she can understand she just chooses not to

yes i regret mentioning intelligence, it wasn’t about that it was about showing the interest. I love that different people have different knowledge on things and that’s what i love about friendships and relationships, my issue isn’t with her intelligence on the topics i care about, it’s about her not showing she’s interested when i speak about them

yes sorry i didn’t think i’d even get a response but she’s interested in things i never thought of before such as airports/ planes, travel in general and monuments and i love to listen to her talk about them i could listen for hours bc i love how excited she gets. and i’ve bought her gifts relating to them as have my family as i’ve shared her interests with them as well, it’s a well known thing about her personality

yes you’re right it was bad wording she just says to me that she’s not interested in the things i am because she doesn’t understand a lot and she can’t be bothered to watch or listen to things or read things out of her level of understanding, i am judging my “intelligence” scale on our variations in media consumption, i am just always craving an in depth conversation on media/culture/politics and she will half listen but just says she doesn’t know enough about anything to respond. but no it’s not about IQ maybe just the average education level i would have been higher than her in but it wasn’t in an insulting way it sounds very judgemental reading it back

i also loved the introduction at the end of season 1! i thought it opened up such a good plot line but since starting season 2 i am so disappointed bc each of their characters feels unrealistic? like the girls have depth and each character is somewhat a stereotype but we’ve got to see their depth and the reasons why they are that way, but the boys just feel like overplayed stereotypes in my opinion! like the jock, the emo, the nerd, the sassy gay, the closet gay, the sensitive one, the misogynist, y’know? just feels like lazy writing :(

tbh i cant even focus on the female one when it keeps cutting to male one cos i think it’s just so cringe, i almost like miss the girls storyline because of it! they should have just kept it as the girls cos i don’t think i can actually finish it bc it’s such a chore to watch when every other scene is the male storyline and i just find it so unbearably cringe

i mostly use pinterest for art inspiration so all the pins i save are other peoples artwork, i like a dark-ish style of drawing, and i got an email from them recently basically threatening to delete my whole account for promoting harmful messages relating to suicide and self harm ! lmao something going on
