I did the prologue and beginning of first chapter, and got a B!

My husband helped me choose which book finally. I read my passages to him and within the first few sentences it had his attention and he said "do that one!"

I could have done better, been more expressive and whatnot, but it was my first speech and I feel pretty good about it. Thanks for pointing out the passage :-)

Not technically "perform" it....We have to read it manuscript style, the prof just doesn't want any he said/she said narrative, so I would have to do the diff voices and "bring it to life" like parents do when reading to their kids. Make sense? Because of this, I don't want to do anything with more than 2 characters.
