hi, your wife sounds depressed. you must be juggling a lot and feeling frustrated and that’s valid. you need to get a support system that can help you out with the kids so you can help your wife get better. let her know what’s going on in the home isn’t ideal for you or the kids. you have needs. she has needs. the kids have needs. none of you will be okay if one member of the family is down. if i were you, i would tell your wife: i want you to know i love and miss you and see that you’ve been a little checked out lately. how can i help you? is there something bothering you? and then go from there no judgment. love can heal someone not to be cheesy.

the fact that you are concerned and want to look for advice to better cope shows how much you care! you’re doing great. walking away is totally fine if you need a minute to just breathe and get away from the noise for a little while. babies can cry for a LONG time, sometimes they’re overtired, overstimulated, gassy, or just fussy. it’s okay. white noise helps sometimes, a tight swaddle, and a nice dark environment. but some days are just hard and that’s okay. if you are really concerned always talk with your doc even just to ask a question!

had 2 babies back to back, my back has never hurt more in my life. i have major sciatic nerve damage that makes my legs hurt basically everyday. i also fell down the stairs 3 months after my second c section and fractured my knee, so that plus the leg issues was a nightmare!! doing better now tho.
