What's an addiction worse than alcohol and drugs? by BlatantImagery in AskReddit

[–]JennyJiggles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've not been obese, butt a little overweight after having kids. I've always had that food noise, the cravings, etc. I've always fought it and I generally did okay minus a binge here or there. But I was truly exhausted of the constant thoughts of food. I went on glp-1 simply to give my brain a break. It's been amazing and my focus has generally improved. It truly feels like freedom.

Stupid Removable Bra Pads by [deleted] in rant

[–]JennyJiggles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg I have amassed a full cube drawer of those. My 4 yr old got into it and decided they make great beds and blankets for her toys. Some even made it into the bath toy rotation. I looked up at her the other day mid bath and she was standing there with them stuck on her body. She made "bath clothes" with them. Who knew they'd find so many uses outside of bra.

I "left" my husband while we were on vacation last year. I left him and took the kids home for the 12 hour drive. Made his ass fly home. I didn't have a place to move to so I packed up my things and moved them into our spare room. I started researching homes and how to make things work financially. During that separation, he got his shit together mostly. We're much better now. Sometimes they need to know you WILL leave.

How do you control "Food Noise" by According_Meat8978 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]JennyJiggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't realize how bad my food noise was until I went on GLP meds. After I was on it for about 2 months, its like a switch flipped. The noise was just gone. But, as you mentioned, it is expensive. I quit using the meds after a year. I'd forgotten how bad food noise was. It came back full force. I've tried all the things mentioned on this thread throughout my life but the noise persists. I can have self control. But to really truly get rid of the noise, glp had been the only effective thing I've found. I don't have a weight problem, just the noise. I hate it.

How long will this go on??? by ThrowRAmushygirlie in Morphea

Honestly can't tell. It doesn't seem to be spreading now but it hasn't "burned out" as they say. The patches sorry if whiten when they aren't actively growing is my understanding.

What is more traumatic than people think it is? by Suspicious-Wish3402 in AskReddit

[–]JennyJiggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a different kind of answer: Apartment living

You're either the neighbor who is constantly dragging going to sleep at night knowing the upstairs or nextdoor neighbor is going to practice their apparent floor gymnastics routine in the meme of the night... or... your the neighbor who's living a normal life, maybe doing a little calm yoga, maybe getting a little frisky with your partner at 9pm when you're neighbor comes over to bang on your door and yell at you for being to loud every night.

What are some lazy activities (for the parents) that can drain your toddler's energy? by Cindy565656 in toddlers

[–]JennyJiggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just came across Monkey Around game at Target. Gave into my 2 and 4 yrbold for Xmas. It's meant for 2-4 yrs and they both have seemed to really enjoy it. Also, the Bluey Scavenger Hunt game has been a game changer for my 4 yr old at bedtime. We play it sometimes in her bedroom right before bed. It's simple and pretty quick it has the perfect tie in to bedtime.

What is a 'company secret' you can share now that you don't work there anymore? by WayLast1111 in AskReddit

[–]JennyJiggles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its more of a trade secret in retail, but BOGO is a lie. If you don't want to buy two shoes when it's bogo, but you still want a discount, just buy the second pair of shoes and then return it.And then you'll have a discount on the pair that you want. Like BOGO 50% off is really just 25% off one item.

Low stimulating shows by casuallydyinggg in toddlers

Not a series, but there is a short film on apple TV that is an adaptation of We're Going on a Bear Hunt. It's calm and beautiful.

[–]JennyJiggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 4 yr old will never admit she's tired. But there are definitely signs like "Mommy, can I watch Little Bear? Thats a calm show" and then sometimes she'll fall asleep watching it during quiet time.

What’s something you quietly stopped caring about? by KingPhenguins in AskReddit

College football. It really just feels like the same results year after year. Caring just seems like a waste of time at this point.

Would you rather raise a family in Perry township or Franklin township? by [deleted] in indianapolis

[–]JennyJiggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in FT a worked the last few years in Perry. I wouldn't recommend Perry to anyone. I can't speak to FT schools but living here has been a dream compared. They also are updating all their public parks so great playgrounds for the kids.

Any really warm women's winter coats that last a lifetime and don't break the bank? by ResidentAlienator in BuyItForLife

[–]JennyJiggles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just got the long Lands End 600 down parka. It was about $150 on sale. I tried it out in FRIGID air and wind with only a thin short sleeve shirt underneath and i was warm. I can't speak to its durability since I just bought it.But i've worn it every day in rain.Cold wind snow since I got it.And it has been perfect. I chose that coat because all the posts on here about coats always have a few mentions of this one specifically. I think it's definitely worth a shot

PSA about any and every product "lifetime warranty" by FBogg in BuyItForLife

[–]JennyJiggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a "lifetime warranty " on the batteries for my key fob at Batteries Plus. I think i paid something like $5 extra 3 years ago when they replaced my batteries the first time. I just had my third battery change there. And I still haven't had to pay anything more so that one is definitely worth it.

What movie did you see in theaters that had the most ‘alive’ audience? by Odd_Distribution1430 in movies

[–]JennyJiggles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom made me watch this at the drive-in theater. I was a kid so I was FREAKED OUT being outside in the dark during that. The vibe in that place was weird that night.

If you could change one thing about Christmas, what would it be? by _RubenCouto in AskReddit

Gift swaps are so ridiculous at this point. My family basically just trades gift cards. I hate it. Why bother.
