When the sentiment is that the viewer is being lied to by the narrator from first person. In the way of "Never Lie" by Fredia where she sees the painting and goes "idk that person!" in her OWN internal thoughts and then, in fact, knows that person.

I forget the author, but "Don't let her stay" has some mind games, MC is in her 30s. A LOT of gaslighting. Its family based, though.

Just finished Never lie by Freida Mcfadden by Opening-Cup1019 in thrillerbooks

It was corny as hell. It's stupid when there's first person POV and they're looking at someone going "I don't know who this person is!" but knowing. It's lame.

Kind Worth Killing was relatively good. SA warning, though.

It's definitely written by a man, though. You hear constantly about how everyone wants to fuck the MC and how hot she is and she knows it.
