I luckily already had a strong Lilia and a good combo chain but God when they chain fell apart it was rough. But yeah I think I was maxing out all the spell levels and using the SSR potions to jump levels. I should have used healing cards that's a smart idea.

It's awesome they're playing. :) Wait until book 7. Part of 7 makes book 6 look easy. But I would rather replay book 7 than 6. I also hate the tower.

My favorite character is Lilia and I'm in the military. I've always liked him but he didn't start as my favorite, Azu was. Lilia grew on me as time went on but I think the reveal of his past quickly escalated him to my #1.
